leather jackets go back and forth.
yes, they go back and forth. from my apartment to zara. i saw a post on whowhatwear.com and was inspired by chanel iman's zara moto jacket enough to go to zara even though i am meant to be on a self-imposed clothing spending freeze for the month of august. i found a soft black leather jacket a few minutes after i walked in - well, the first one had faux fur on it (pass) and the second one was a hybrid between an 80s bomber and a moto jacket, so i tracked it down at another store and brought it home, along with a pair of suede ruched ankle boots (so much for the final stretch of the spending freeze. who was i kidding? i love fall fashion.) turns out the ankle boots are too painful for my not-yet-healed right toe, so i brought them back to zara today only to be confronted by a black suede motorcycle jacket! i tried it on in a S and XS and fell in love. so here i am, about to bring leather jacket 1 back to zara, where i will meet my lovely husband, who will be the final word on leather jacket 1, leather jacket 2 in a S, and leather jacket 3 in an XS. how i adore him.
